Gisborne Thistle A.F.C is an association football club based in New Zealand, and was started in 1924. The club celebrates 100 years in 2024, and is one of the oldest football clubs in New Zealand. 

Gisborne Thistle is the biggest football club in Gisborne, with it’s senior playing pool reaching just over 160 players. They have 8 senior teams of both men and women, and also have 3 netball teams adjacent.
